Sexting teens are now able to fear Apple's latest patent

Tuesday morning, Apple, Inc. had been awarded a patent on its new anti-sexting technology. The program is intended to help parents filter teens’ text messaging. The stated intention of this system is anti-sexting. The newly patented technology has many applications. No word yet on if the tech will be integrated within the next iPhone.

Technologies patent that is anti-sexting

A United States of America patent had been given to Apple computers. This patent is for “anti-sexting” programming that was made. The words of phrases used in the message don’t matter as much as the “content and intent” of the message that the program “reads” carefully. It is a fairly flexible tool that can address multiple criteria which means Apple’s tool will work better than present available tools. The technology is only meant for text messages and does not address images sent via the phone. Apple merchandise haven’t been integrated the newly patented technology at all yet.

System does more than help sexting with the anti-sexing development

The anti-sexting product from Apple can do more than just control sexting, according to the patent application. The program could also be used to require a certain number of a certain kind of texts to be sent. It could also block messages with grammar and spelling errors from being sent. Any Apple gadget with the system can have any kind of text requirement put into the program.

Searching for text control products right now?

Text messaging could be limited and controlled by hundreds of applications and programs out there. All text messages are deleted with TigerText. This makes the conversations more private. The Global Positioning System on a phone tracks the speed with one application. This makes it so texting is turned off when going a certain speed. There are also programs that can limit text messaging to a certain pre-set list of people or phone numbers.

The right to sexting

The anti-sexting technology patented by Apple leaves a larger question open, nevertheless. When does this become a bigger problem? Are there privileges concerns? Several think that controlling the use of communication with cell phones for kids and teenagers is something that has to happen. Adults, however, may find their communication recorded, monitored and even cut off depending on use of their own devices.
