Luxury vehicle revenue ascend in spite of depressed economic climate

Over the past year, there has been a steady increase in high end auto sales. The past year has seen increasing vehicle revenue across all categories. However, a lone brand of luxury automobiles was unable to post gains. Volvo actually saw a decrease in sales . The embattled Swedish car line has seen sales slip . Lexus was finally overtaken by Mercedes Benz in sales for the first time in months. Lexus will undoubtedly try to make amends . There was also a rise in revenue for domestic high end brands Lincoln and Cadillac .

Luxurious auto revenue are going up

The bad outlook being seen by everyone has disappeared for some. Many have felt getting a new car was within their grasp. Several luxury brands have posted enormous gains . USA Today reports that a 43.8 percent gain in the first nine months of 2010 was reported by Cadillac . During that time, other luxury brands also posted large gains . Infiniti, Acura, Audi and Porsche all sold nearly 25 percent much more cars since September, 2009 . There was a 10 percent increase since that very same time from BMW and Lexus along with a brand that nobody seems to remember getting a 6 percent boost called Lincoln . Ford Motor Co. is turning attention to Lincoln in the new year . Only Volvo did not post an increase in sales for luxurious vehicles .

Much more Mercedes distributed than Lexus

In the this past year, there has been a rise in all luxurious auto revenue. This was after the huge drop in revenue after September 2009. Automotive News reports that Cadillac has an 11 percent increase since Sept 2009 although in 2010 it has reported a 43.8 percent increase . There was a 22 percent increase for Mercedes. This was from January 2010 though. Lexus sold more automobiles by volume than Mercedes until Sept, when Mercedes managed to sell more automobiles than Lexus overall .

Forget about rewards

Luxury brand rewards are hard to discover. They just do not seem to exist anymore. The economic climate is doing better though since more individuals are getting high end autos and getting loans again .
