Netherlands research displays Wi-Fi warps sapling growth

Wi-Fi radiation is damaging trees, says PC World. A recent Netherlands study conducted by Wageningen University found that Wi-Fi radiation can alter development patterns and cause bleeding and fissures in growing sapling bark. Wi-Fi study discovered irregularities that could not be caused by bacteria and viruses

The Netherlands city of Alphen aan den Rijn was where the five-year Wageningen University research on Wi-Fi was taking place in the trees and shrubs. In cities, there were trees and shrubs that now show symptoms from the Wi-Fi electromagnetic radiation while some of trees showed difficulties since the study first began. About 10 percent showed it at the beginning of the study while the other 70 show it now.

Ultra-fine particles emitted by Wi-Fi signals were the primary focus of the Wageningen study, but the electromagnetic fields produced by mobile phone networks as well as operating vehicles and trucks with radio and/or Wi-Fi and satellite equipment also contribute to the overall production of radiation that is harmful to trees. What is happening based on some scientists is the ultra-fine particles are really, really small. Trees and other organisms will allow the small particles to enter. There is also a concern for other plants, animals and human beings. There has not been a definite study published on the impact on human beings yet although lots of evidence would suggest the human cells react negatively to the radiation.

Does Wi-Fi cost far too much?

The USDA forest Service explains how significant trees and shrubs are to the environment. This is what would take place if the world lost all its trees although Wi-Fi might be quite essential too:

• The trees and shrubs absorb pollutants within the air. This would not happen anymore.
• No trees and shrubs to increase property values.
• Neighborhood and business appeal would no longer be there.
• Cities wouldn't be cooled by trees and shrubs anymore.
• An average United States of America household with sapling shade on it saves the family $250 on average annually which wouldn't occur.
• United States wouldn't save millions anymore with trees reducing pollutants in the water supply without trees and shrubs.
• No trees and shrubs for animal habitats in urban areas.
