The cast list for DWTS was already introduced by American Broadcasting Company. It will begin its 11 season on September 20 for viewers who care. The show is going to star Bristol Palin, “The Situation,” David Hasslhoff, Audrina Patridge and Brandy, as it was announced by media leaks last week. Margaret Cho, Florence Henderson from the “Brady Bunch,” Michael Bolton, and Jennifer Grey who is “Baby” from “Dirty Dancing” are all also going to be on the show, says NJ.com. Dancing With the Stars has one prediction of who’ll win. This is Jennifer Grey. The celebrity dancing extravaganza may have basically saved her life.
An auto incident nearly put Jennifer Grey in a corner
Jennifer Grey thought she’d never get the chance to dance again after a car accident she was in years ago. Zap2It reports that Grey said she was feeling bad neck pain before talking to a neurological spine surgeon. Grey wanted this appointment after hearing the surgeon worked on dancer Karina Smirnoff so she can be able to go on DWTS at some point.
Grey had some torn ligaments in her neck because of the incident. Evidently nobody had treated her correctly. Grey was told by the surgeon that her spinal cord was compressed because of the degenerated condition. Any blow might cause a minor shift. This shift would then lead to her being permanently paralyzed. Grey decided it was time for surgery. She got her neck fused. In the process of that procedure, the doctor convinced her to have a benign nodule removed.
Jennifer Grey has no cancer but a new neck
”Dancing with the Stars” will gladly take her. She will do well. Jennifer Grey only went through treatment for the show. That is how DWTS saved her life.
“I was so frightened of the surgery, I didn’t want to even consider that it would be successful. And it was so successful, I proceeded to do everything else on my ‘to-do’ list that I was afraid of, including doing this show,” Grey told Zap2It. “I figure that if I don’t do it now, I’ll be too old for it. My body is clearly giving out.”
